For some reason I am very scared of free motion quilting. It looks so pretty but also seems very complicated!
Today I found a tutorial with a few pictures and a short video, and maybe I am finally ready to give it a try.
One lady once told me to have a glass of wine right before because it makes it easier to move the fabric around and not being so stiff in your arms and hands. haha. If that's not motivation enough! ;)
Mir gings genauso und bin überzeugt, dass meine NäMa meine Angst förmlich riechen konnte. Ich bin noch weit entfernt von gut aber man kann es mittlerweile anschauen :-D Das mit dem Wein wurde mir auch vorgeschlagen..... aber ich hab ein oder zwei Bierchen bevorzugt - lol. Was mir persönlich noch geholfen hat - erhöhtes sitzen (Bügelstehhilfe oder sowas), in finde von oben runter funktioniert es besser den Quilt zu bewegen. Viel Erfolg beim üben und danke für den Link.. seufz, da sieht es so einfach aus.
