Born and raised in beautiful Bavaria, Germany. In 2005 I married my best friend, who is in the US military. We have two boys, and recently moved back to the states after spending 2 years in South Korea.
I started sewing in 5th grade but wasn't very excited about it. In 2006 I got a sewing machine for christmas and signed up for a beginners quilting class. That's when I fell in love with fabric and anything you can make with it. I started sewing kids quilts, and shortly after that tought myself how to sew bags. First tote bags, then book bags, and finally diaper bags. I am constantly in a learning progress and sometimes I come up with the greatest ideas by making mistakes.
